UK Health Secretary Quits After Flouting Social Distance Guidance

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun 26- United Kingdom Health Secretary Hatt Mancock on Saturday resigned, after failed to observe social distancing guideline by kissing a colleague.

In a letter to Prime Minister Boris Johnson, he apologised for the mistake, saying “the last thing I would want is for my private life to distract attention from the single-minded that is leading us out of this crisis.”

“We owe it to people who have sacrificed so much in this pandemic to be honest when we have let them down as I have done by breaching the guidance.”
