NAIVASHA, Kenya, Jul 12- One person died on the spot on Monday, after a light aircraft crashed in Naivasha.
The incident happened in Jerusalem, within Nbabibi area.
Two other people who were onboard the ill fated aircraft are in hospital receiving treatment. They were monitoring locust invasion in the area.
“It is too early to establish the cause of the crash but, generally, we had a bad weather for the better part of the day,” Deputy county commissioner Kisilu Mutua told Shahidi News.
Investigations are underway to establish what caused the accident.
Police said the scene of the accident was not easily accessible.
The area has a tough terrain.
