KISII, Kenya, Jul 29- Police are investigating an incident in which a head teacher of a primary school in Kisii County was Wednesday night killed in an arson attack, over a land issue.
The bodies of the head teacher of Gekongo Primary School in Semta Sub County and her husband were found in their house at Itumbe shopping centre after an apparent arson attack.
Police have promised action against the perpetrators.
The couple has been enduring incidents of attacks on their premises in the past months and are believed to be linked to the land issues.
Police told Shahidi News that the two have been having a land tussle with some locals. They believe this led to the fatal attack.
No arrest has been made so far but investigators are ongoing.
