Police Investigate Murder Of School Security Guard At Rabuor Primary School

KISUMU,Kenya, Oct, 19 – The body of a 50 year old security guard at Rabuor Primary School was recovered by police Monday night amidst jitters over a criminal gang that is terrorising residents in the area.

According to preliminary reports, the deceased was found dumped inside the school compound – He sustained deep cuts on his body as blood oozed from the nose and mouth.

Police now say they are pursuing a criminal gang in the area said to have attempted to steal from the learning institution.

“The robbers however did not steal anything from the institution despite breaking the door of the headteacher’s office,” Said Nyando Sub County Police Commander Leonard Matete.

Investigations into the incident is ongoing even as residents say that a similar incident occurred in the area three weeks ago after a nurse was also murdered a few meters from the school.
