President Kenyatta To Preside Over Kenya Defence Forces Cadets Commissioning Parade

NAIROBI,Kenya, Nov, 26 – President Uhuru Kenyatta will Friday preside over the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Cadets Commissioning Parade.

The Academy will hold the Cadet Pass Out parade for 320 cadets who have successfully completed their training. 

Security has been heightened at the event which will take place under Covid-19 pandemic rules. 

The president who has been out of the country since November 18 while on a trip to Mozambique, South Africa and Uganda arrived in the country last evening ahead of the event.

The president was on various trips in the countries. He is busy trying to find a solution in the Ethiopian crisis pitting the National government and Tigray people which has displaced many.

Meanwhile during the pass out parade unlike previous years, the event will not be open to the public. This part of the efforts to combat the spread of the corona virus.
