LAMU, Kenya, Jan 13- Two people who had been abducted by suspected Al-Shabaab terrorists in Lamu have been found murdered.
The two were abducted 8 days ago, and their whereabouts had remained unknown, until Thursday when police found their bodies.
They had been abducted in Kibokoni, Hindi area of Lamu County.
Police told Shahidi News that the two bodies were retrieved from a forest in Kibokoni.
Parts of Lamu County have since been put to a dusk to dawn curfew after 15 people were killed in days.
Of those killed, four are General Service Unit officers.
While the killings are being conducted by suspect Al-Shabaab militants, preliminary investigations have linked the incidents to land disputes in the area.
The government is undertaking landmark projects in the coastal town, a move that has drastically improved the value of land in the area.
Those who have been killed have moved to Lamu from other parts of the country.
