‘Missing’ Clinical Officer Who Testified In Sharon Otieno’s Case Found At His Home In Kisii

KISII, Kenya, Mar 25- A clinical officer who testified in the late Sharon Otieno’s murder case has been found at his home in Kisii after word spread that he had gone missing.

Cliff Momanyi had admitted to faking medical records for Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s personal assistant Michael Oyamo on the day Rongo University student Sharon Otieno and her unborn baby were killed.

His family had raised alarm after he testified in the ongoing case, at the Milimani Law Courts on March 23.

The clinical officer is currently being questioned at the DCI offices in Kisii.

Kisii County Secretary-General Clinicians Union Victor Bwenchete said Momanyi was found at his home in Gesonso.

It is not however clear where he had been for the last 48 hours.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations had launched a probe over the incident.
