Raila Odinga To Meet Senior Govt Officials While In The US- Prof Makau Mutua

NAIROBI, Kenya, Apr 21- Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga is set to meet senior government officials during his trip to the United States, Prof. Makau Mutua has revealed.

Mutua is Odinga’s presidential Campaign Secretariat spokesperson.

In a statement, the spokesperson said Odinga and his entourage will leave the country on Friday.

While in the US, he will also meet senior members of the United States Congress and key African-American leaders.

“He will meet and address Kenyans in the American diaspora and speak to several think tanks,” he said.

Odinga will be accompanied by among others NARC Kenya party leader Martha Karua, former Head of Public Service Dr. Sally Kosgei, Senator Moses Kajwang, Governors Ndiritu Mureithi and Wycliffe Oparanya and James Ongwae.
