Manhunt Underway For Drug Trafficking Suspect Who Escaped While In Police Custody

Police are looking for a drug trafficking suspect who escaped as he was being escorted from Mathare mental hospital to Buruburu police cells.

The suspect had been to the hospital for attention after he developed withdrawal syndromes while in the cells and started to ooze white substances from his mouth.

And after he was attended to, he was escorted back to the station but while on Rabai Road, he started to vomit forcing the officers escorting him to stop during which he reportedly jumped out and vanished.

One of the officers shot in the air to force him to stop in vain.
