NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun, 14 – A somber mood has engulfed Butiye area, Gurumesa Location, in Moyale Marsabit county after a 40-year-old man killed his three children before allegedly killing himself.
According to preliminary reports Raymond Kyalo Musyoka is said to have been embroiled in a domestic dispute with his wife before committing the unthinkable.
The bodies of the deceased were found spread on the ground under the tree the father is said to have hanged himself on.
The children were aged between 11 months and seven years.
The area chief reported the incident after being notified by residents.
Police said that the man allegedly suffocated his children with his wife further telling detectives he left with them shortly after they had an argument.
Eastern police boss Rono Bunei said they had taken the bodies to the mortuary.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
