NAIROBI, Kenya, Jun, 30 – Police In Huruma area, Nairobi county have launched a manhunt for a man that allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death following a domestic dispute Wednesday evening.
According to preliminary reports, the two, neighbors reported were involved in an altercation that later turned tragic.
“The two had quarreled before the man picked up a kitchen knife and slit the woman’s throat after stabbing her,” said police.
Residents notified police of the incident though the assailant shortly after fled the scene, going into hiding.
Sleuths are yet to establish the motive of the incident amidst investigations and a manhunt for the alleged killer.
Meanwhile, a similar incident was also reported in Kayole, where a woman stabbed her boyfriend following an alleged altercation.
The matter is also under probe as the suspect is being held by police before being arraigned.
