Wiper Party’s Mwalika Mboni Re-Elected As Kitui Rural MP

KITUI, Kenya, Aug, 30 – Mwalika Mboni won re-election as Kitui Rural Member of parliament.

Mboni who contested on a Wiper party ticket garnered 19, 745 votes against United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party’s Charles Mutisya Nyamai who got 10, 178 votes.

The constituency’s returning officer Winfred Ndoti declared him the winner saying that 30, 089 votes were cast.

He contested the Mp seat previously on a CCU party ticket.
