NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 4- A series of key roads will Monday be closed ahead of the presidential petitions ruling, police in Kenya have announced.
All the affected roads lead to the Supreme Court of Kenya.
Officer in charge of Traffic in Nairobi Vitalis Otieno said the roads will be closed for at least 2 hours to the ruling; by the 7-member bench led by Chief Justice Martha Karua.
He said Ngong Road will be closed at the Junction of Ngong Road 1st Avenue (Opposite NHIF).
“No motorists will be allowed to access CBD through Kenyatta Avenue via Cathedral Road but instead are advised to use Haile Selassie Avenue,” he said.
