NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct, 4 – Two people are in police custody following an altercation and fight that resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man, Samson Omurua, at a construction site in Mathare.
According to preliminary reports, the deceased was part of a group at the site tasked with constructing a toilet. In the course of doing their job, a rival group is said to have arrived at the site and demanded the exercise cease forthwith.
It is unclear why the rival group sort to stop construction at the site.
Omurua was rushed to the hospital a the site but died after he was stabbed in the stomach and hit in the head.
The arrested persons are helping police with investigations ahead of the arraignment.
The body of the deceased is being preserved at the local mortuary.
