NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 6- Former Cabinet Minister Amos Kimunya is in trouble after the High Court quashed a decision to acquit him over a Sh60 million fraud case.
High Court Judge Esther Maina ordered the former legislator and co-accused to be put on their defence before the magistrate court.
During a ruling issued on Wednesday, she directed the matter to be mentioned before Chief Magistrate Lawrence Mugambu on October 11, for further directions.
In her finding, the Judge noted that the prosecution has established a prima facie case against the suspects.
The MP had been acquitted by a lower court.
The Director of Public Prosecutions however moved to the High Court, and successfully challenged the acquittal.
