NAKURU Kenya May 15 -Five people died, and eight others were seriously injured after a matatu they were traveling in from Eldoret to Nairobi overturned in Sachangwan, Nakuru.
According to the police, the driver lost control of the vehicle along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway on Monday, May 15
Molo Police Commander Mwenda Muthamia said among the deceased were four men and a woman, adding that the eight other suspects were seriously injured.
The survivors are receiving treatment at the Molo Hospital while the bodies of the deceased are at the hospital mortuary.
The area is regarded a black spot and several measures have been put in place to contain the menace.
