KDF Officers Arrested Their Lorry Impounded

MACHAKOS Kenya Sept 8- Atleast two military officers have been arrested and their lorry impounded.

The two were intercepted at the Kivindini area in Machakos County along the Nairobi Garisa highway by officers manning a security checkpoint.

The two officers were identified as Antony Mwathe Maina and Edwin Mwema Chesabu from Kahawa Barracks as the lorry driver.

A report filed at Yatta Police Station indicated that the military lorry was transporting suspected contraband goods and aliens from Garissa County.

Atleast 290 bags of sugar each weighing 50kg and a hundred cartons of powdered milk were recovered.

Three suspected aliens were arrested including Abdrahaman Said, Abdirabi Faham Asma aged and Mohamud Said Osman.
