A Man Held IN Kisii Over Death of His Boss

KISII Kenya October 3-Police in Kisii are holding a 30 year old man suspected of murdering his boss.

Benard Nyaseti, is suspected of killing Gladys Nyaoka by hitting her with a metallic rod.

While appearing before Kisii Chief Magistrate Stella Abuya, Benard Nyaseti denied the offence.

Nyaseti, a house help to  a 71 year old  Gladys  Nyaoga splashed her with hot water before hacking her with a metallic rod.

Nyaseti is alleged to have lost Sh2000 and  accused Nyaoga’s granddaughter of stealing.

The young girl ran to her grandmother who was in the kitchen preparing supper and that is when Nyaseti while chasing her bowed hot water before hacking the elderly woman to death.

Police in Marani have applied to be allowed to hold the suspect for 14 days to conclude investigations.

Police believe they will be able to record statements and conduct mental assessment and postmortem.

The trial magistrate allowed the application and the case was adjourned to October 16.
